Unless the Olympic title is the pinnacle of your particular sport, then it shouldn’t be included.

Golf should not be in the Olympics, certainly not ahead of squash.

  2. xtrememachead Says:

I support golf in the Olympics

  3. sup3rh1k Says:

yeah it should be in the olympics.

  4. Chi7es Says:

Well, we have target shooting in olympics
golf requires physical capacity to control and and transmit precision from your body and mind to the physical plane.

    BASICALLY IT REQUIRES SKILL

  9. SoccerKid146 Says:

i dont understand why they took golf out of the olympics

  10. ComanderDailey Says:

I would go for that. =) Mickelson and Woods, and if only Palmer was still playing, though he might come back for olympics (HOPEFULLY), and Daly.

  11. WiggityW Says:

can someone explain how they could fit golf into the olympics.

id love to see golf there but i dont think it will happen. finally give me a reason to watch the summer olympics

  12. breedloveplayer0 Says:

If you havn’t realized, tiger has not been winning as much as he use too. I think it would be an equal shot for all because a lot of countries have at least one player that can challenge woods or mickelson.

  13. hi2red Says:

only reason there are no golf in olympics is because everyone would be pissed cus tiger woods(america) would win all the time

  14. Piersonkicks Says:

of course golf should be in the Olympics its the hardest sport in the world and as wel the most fun!

  15. lityl95 Says:

    Canada

  16. weggles Says:

Golf really seems like a perfect sport for the Olympics. The only negative to it would be potential advantages to the “home” team who have played the particular course more than others… unless they’d build a new course just for the olympics.

    lorena eres la mejor!

  18. whyamipinktoday Says:

it would definately fill the time slots for the olympics thats for sure

  19. gharlston11 Says:

Jbtil, one more thing. The President’s Cup has been played seven times thus far and the Internationals have won only once. I think Australia would have the second strongest team but don’t kid yourself the American men would be dominant against any country…at least on paper.

  20. gharlston11 Says:

Jbtil, America is the dominant country in men’s golf. If the European Ryder Cup team were made up of only players from England or only players from Germany or only players from Spain or whatever European country you choose exclusively to fill your team, the American squad would probably still dominate the event. Remember this. The main reason all of the other European countries now play in the Ryder cup is because the USA so thoroughly dominated Great Britain.

  21. Samoanfox5000 Says:

golf shud be in the olympics. the only problem is i dont really know how the format wud b. maybe a match play thing with brackets. and im not sure if there will b a lot of countries who wud compete. USA, England, Spain, wud b the frontrunners. the rest of the countries wid get smoked

  22. stubby42642 Says:

itd deffinetly get more people watching the olympics

  23. stubby42642 Says:

absolutely, wonder how the format would be tho. i imagine they would do it like any HS or college match, combine scores and lowest wins?
